Last September 1, 2007, at the Nepo Quadrangle, Angeles City, San Miguel Beer and the Angeles City Tourism Office held a Battle of the Bands. In the event, the host said something that praises “Pampangueno Rock” (in Tagalog), and ironically, Kapampangan is never used in rock.

Some argue that anything produced by a Kapampangan is already Kapampangan music. Well, this is what they want us to think. I call most bands “Kapampangan People who make non-Kapampangan songs.”

And then the host also said something like (the host speaks mostly in Tagalog, by the way), “give the Pampangueno rockers a chance to play with national rock musicians (who are, duh, mostly Tagalog musicians).”

I just wanted to see what it was like to be with different people. I don’t think a girl’s a slut if she enjoys sex. I could have a one-night stand…

But after all that sexing time, she don’t want to see you in bed the moment she wakes up the next morning.

One hundred eleven-year-old Japanese teetotaller Tomoji Tanabe was presented yesterday with a certificate from Guinness Book of World Records by Japan’s city mayor naming him the oldest living man. Tanabe celebrates his birthday on September 18.

The article from Yahoo! says

The Japanese are among the world’s longest-lived people, with 28,395 people aged 100 or above in Japan at the end of September last year, according to the Health Ministry. Researchers have attributed the phenomenon to factors including healthy diet and tight-knit communities.

Do we have a chance of breaking this feat? But how will you expect Filipinos not to drink alcohol and don’t smoke at the same time?

She’s getting attention from young guys and foreigner lately. Did she really turn hot or she’s just funny?

I’ve seen her in one of the Shake, Rattle, and Roll sequels and her appearance really did change compared before. Except for her quarter moon shaped face.

She’s coming out with a new film (with title Ang Cute ng Ina Mo) doing a mother role again.
