I met up with my friend Sheila yesterday and went to San Jose and Palo Alto. Some of you might remember Sheila from her guest segments on the talk show. The plan was to meet 3 people from the Philippines yesterday. 1 cousin and 2 friends. My other friend couldn’t make it, so it was Shelia and I with my cousins.

1st stop was Valley Fair mall in San Jose to meet up with the cuz. We also walked around Santa Row before heading to some bar that served a strong mojito and the Hukilau in Palo Alto.

Nice place. The food reminded me of tapsilog, longsilog and the other silogs. The Pinoy reggae band, Mango Kingz was also in the house.

I don’t know if it was the drunk state of my companions, but it was brought up that I look like John Mayer. Maybe the eyes and the hair. I’ve been told that I look like Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas and Richard Ramirez, the serial killer in the 80’s known as the night stalker.
