Why do we want to know if PIOLO is gay? in our society.. due to our
religion brought by the spaniards.. besides social classes, majority of
us obliviously grew up with a “caste system” based on gender and
sexuality. str8 men rank the highest, followed by str8 women, then
lesbians and last are gays. Therefore, in majority of our countrymen,
being labeled as GAY is negative and to a few, an insult.. because to
some narrow-minded folks, they believe that a gay man wont be able to
satisfy a woman sexualy or they won’t be able to be a good father to
their children.  So what does all these have to do with Piolo?…  A
hansome, famous and successful man like piolo is considered extremely
attractive to most filipinos.. Thus, he brings out the green-eyed
monster out of some str8 men and gaymen. Proving that he’s gay would
make him imperfect and less attractive to others, thus, it would make

normal men feel better about themselves and their lives…  To some
women, proving that he’s gay will stop all their frustration in wanting
something they can never have. While women aquainted to him, want to
know if he’s gay because it would act as a red flag that he is
ineligible. They think that if ever they do hook up, ther s fear that
he myt replace or cheat her with a man instead of a woman and she won’t
be able to bear the shame if ever this info would leak out. In the
perspective of homosexuals, some want him to be gay because they belive
that an achiever like piolo would uplift the status of all gaymen in
our society. Some wishfull thinkers, love the idea that he’s gay
because it will make him look more available for them… some would
feel anger because they think that being gay is nothing to be ashamed
of. So is he gay or str8? If he’s not str8 but choose 2 be discreet,
Lets believe what he says and let’s stop trying to prove that he’s
gay…niway, who can blame him?… maybe he’s trying to protect the
reputation of his family, or maybe, one day, if ever he needs/wants to
be str8, theres an assurance that ther wuld b many beautiful women
interested to marry him with pride..  and lastly, Who in the ryt mind
wuld want to xchange a life full of succes, fame & fortune with
a life filled with insecurity, discrimination & prejudice?
…If some are mad that he lied about his sexuality, why dont we just
leave him be?.. no one deserves to be forced out of the closet… if
he’s str8,  then good for him and the lucky woman that he would have a
healthy meaningfull relationship with…  WHY DO WE WANT TO PROVE THAT
HE’S GAY? Is all these another case of dicrimination & bigotry?
Or another expression of our filipino value which is “crab
mentality”?… One thing is for sure … whatever he is, we should all
respect that.. discrimination & rivalry are a few of the many
reasons why our country is divided today.
