If the racial slur made in a scene in ABC TV’s ”Desperate Housewives” against Philippine medical schools had outraged the nation, Filipinos here and abroad could be in for more.
This time, it may be the turn of the Emmy-award winning American satirical television program “The Daily Show” to spark controversy for apparently making a bad joke on former President Corazon Aquino.
1st of all GMA, the Desperate Housewives issue wasn’t a racial slur. A racial slur is nigger, honky, hook nose Jew, Pollack…..dumb fucks.

LOL yeah, it has Kris written all over but then again I adore her so much that for me, Philippine television is nothing without her.

I’m referring to Ms. Aquino as such an effective media icon; I’ve read an article somewhere that she is so influential making her an effective promoter of mainstream products and services, and despite her mishaps in both her showbiz and personal life, continuous to earn millions for her advertisements. Most women rely on Kris when buying things, “If Kris uses it, and then it must be good”. The author of that article concluded and I quote: “Kris doesn’t need television, television does” or something like that, and I can’t agree more.

LOL, yeah it’s a bit out of context naHnaH, but this is my response to tado. What I just want to say is that despite the fact that I consider Kris “technically” a slut, “I like her just the way she is”.
i was being sarcastic, alls im saying is, i don’t consider philippine television nowadays as SOMETHING worth watching, we need more shows that make ppl think.
first of all, it seems like filipino comedy is stuck in the slapstick era. recycled jokes are not funny!
secondly, kris aquino is not fit to host game shows if any, attacking your guests/contestants personal faults to make you look good is not part of hosting a show or is she just being funny? cuz i find that offensive.
lasty MTRCB is over doing its job, im not a big fan of censorship
