John Paule Gonzales, 22, was arrested Saturday after a girl told her father that she was held captive for 18 months. What a creep! I saw his mug on the news, he’s Pinoy.

In 2000, the girl, then 10, reportedly met Gonzales when he dated her aunt with whom she lived in San Bruno. Two years later, Gonzales reportedly told the girl her aunt was cheating on him and threatened to kill himself if she would not have sex.

By 2003, the girl moved to Healdsburg with her grandmother but continued an e-mail correspondence with Gonzales. After moving back to San Bruno with her aunt, the girl was told by Gonzales that if she did not have sex with him she would be tied to a tree and raped by him and his friends, Wagstaffe said.

The girl acquiesced and began a regular sexual relationship with Gonzales. He reportedly moved into her bedroom after ending the relationship with her aunt in March 2005. He allegedly controlled every aspect of her life, from her clothing choices to her whereabouts, until she went back to Healdsburg.
