Philippine blog overlord, Abe Olandres of Yugatech and loads of other blogs has taken over management of The Blog Herald.
the blog herald

To assist me with this new role is fellow problogger J Angelo Racoma. We have huge plans for The Blog Herald and he’s really instrumental why I accepted the assignment. The new owners of The Blog Herald have given me a whole lotta trust in running the site and steering it to the right direction. With the help of my able colleague and our current pool of bloggers at TBH (and newer ones as well), I hope to accomplish something tangible and concrete in the coming months — and yes, not disappoint the loyal readers of The Blog Herald.

Congrats to Abe and team. I’ve always said that we Filipinos need to think out of the box and “deFilipino” our business ventures. Take whitey’s money and reinvest locally.

Mike Abundo has this to say:

When it comes to showing Filipinos how to monetize their natural affinity for social media, Abe leads the way. I’m meeting with the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry tomorrow; I’ll definitely cite this local sunrise industry milestone. They hear a lot about Americans taking over Philippine businesses; bet they rarely hear about a Filipino taking over a US business.
