This site has been recently been banned from Google Adsense. I did not read their policies but I doubt they clearly defined “Excessive profanity”. Is it the dreaded “F” word more than 3x in a post? I don’t think they site has that much profanity compared to some of Google’s Blogger blogs. Blogger is an oasis of profanity, port, spam, and all types of crap. Is discussing sex scandals as bad as this site that is hosted by Google? Even though that site doesn’t use Adsense, it’s still on their servers. Anyway, there are other options. Roadblocks force one to be creative.

If I can’t play, neither can others. From now on, if I see a site that contains content like Putanginamo!com’s or uses images next to the Adsense links, they will be reported to Google.

To the 3 G’s (Girls, Guys, & Gays),

It’s time again to try and destroy Putanginamo!com again. It’s a little experiment I like to do from time to time. The last self-destruction test was a failed move to Drupal. It worked and readership was at an all-time low. With the #’s at an all-time high, it’s time again.

So what are some things people hate the most? Ranking high on the list would be self-importance and self-absorbency. Over the next few weeks, I will posting the most irrelevant crap about MYSELF.

Forbes magazine came out with a list of the richest Filipinos in the Philippines. Who cares about the rich guys, here are the richest Filipinas. Wouldn’t you like one of these to be your sugar mama?

The Forbes issue named four Filipinas in its list. They are Betty Ang (net worth: $115 million), Vivian Que Azcona ($80 million), Lourdes Montinola ($50 million) and Marixi Prieto ($30 million).

Ms. Ang is president of Monde Nissin, maker of instant noodles, biscuits and snack food while Ms. Azcona’s Que family owns the Mercury Drug chain, the country’s largest with over 500 outlets.

Ms. Montinola’s father, Nicanor Reyes, founded Far Eastern University in 1928. She served as sixth president and is the largest shareholder of the school.

Ms. Prieto’s family, meanwhile, is majority owner of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, which claims to be the biggest broadsheet in the Philippines.

Philippine blog overlord, Abe Olandres of Yugatech and loads of other blogs has taken over management of The Blog Herald.
the blog herald

To assist me with this new role is fellow problogger J Angelo Racoma. We have huge plans for The Blog Herald and he’s really instrumental why I accepted the assignment. The new owners of The Blog Herald have given me a whole lotta trust in running the site and steering it to the right direction. With the help of my able colleague and our current pool of bloggers at TBH (and newer ones as well), I hope to accomplish something tangible and concrete in the coming months — and yes, not disappoint the loyal readers of The Blog Herald.

Congrats to Abe and team. I’ve always said that we Filipinos need to think out of the box and “deFilipino” our business ventures. Take whitey’s money and reinvest locally.

Mike Abundo has this to say:

When it comes to showing Filipinos how to monetize their natural affinity for social media, Abe leads the way. I’m meeting with the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry tomorrow; I’ll definitely cite this local sunrise industry milestone. They hear a lot about Americans taking over Philippine businesses; bet they rarely hear about a Filipino taking over a US business.

In an effort to help out the next brother man and to maintain myself, here’s quick guide to the not so secret ways to earn real money through blogging. It does not matter if you are in the Philippines, Dubai, or USA. The following is what worked for me and my content. I may not work for you. I’m sure I missed a lot but here it is….

The basics
- Get yourself a bank account to receive the payment checks or via direct deposit
- Get a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover)
- Get a Paypal account to pay for goods and services or to receive payment. It now is Philippine compatable but you can’t transfer funds back to your back account yet.

Your Content
The #1 reason why people will visit your blog is your content. I suggest blogging about something you know. Others will tell you that you have to be passionate about your content. I disagree. It will make blogging easier but I’m honestly not passionate about Pinoy Showbiz or sex scandals. I would rather write about colonial mentality. Regardless, being passionate about your content will help you write consistent content. Believe it or not, there are people out there who share the same interests as you.
