Filipino heavyweight UFC contender, Brandon Vere drops a 3 round decision to Tim Silvia. Does this mean he will drop to light-weight? It looks like Brandon broke his hand.

It was kinda weak. One of the guys should have shoved Chuck. BTW, Chuck Lidell is the current UFC light heavyweight champ.

Here are the results from the Brandon Vera vs Manny Pacquiao poll. Vera barely wins(I combined the Vera by KO and Vera by death). I don’t know if the 40 people who voted form Pacman to win by KO were just messing around but I would not be surprised if there seriously thought that he would KO Brando Vera.

I fully support Pinoy MMA but I just caught some episodes and had shake my head and say “What the fuck?” out loud. It’s a blatant rip-off of the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter TV show with annoying post production. Ok, I’ll give them the concept of having a tournament style show but please change the production. Come on guys, we can do better. It’s 2006 and you can’t fool your countrymen anymore.

Here’s a sample of RPF - Real Pinoy Fighter

Here’s TUF - The Ultimate Figher

Watch a match of RPF after the jump. One dude could not even fight. What a joke. It’s like poor people on Eat Bulaga fighting with big boxing gloves for money.

Brandon Vera fights the former UFC Heavy Weight Champ, Frank Mir on 11/18. I think Frank Mir will be KFO’d in the 2nd round. In a recent interview, Brandon mentions the Philippines numerous times.

Short term goals is to keep my health, go to the Philippines. Start concentrating on my businesses, I have a couple different businesses that I’m doing. After this fight I’m going to go ahead and reinvest and start actually do things with what I’ve been supposed to be doing. Instead of floating along.

I guess that he will open some MMA schools in Manila. He’s already been there numerous times for some seminars.
