Here are more American TV shows making fun of Filipinos. It’s probably worst than the Desperate Housewives line but why don’t these delusional oversensitive “Filipinos” go after Family Guy? Oh yeah, they would look foolish going after cartoons.

Here’s what bugs me. We will jump all over a non-Pinoy show for a mildly “offensive” comment done in a comedic context but will not look at ourselves 1st. How many Filipino shows make fun of other races? How about how gays are portrayed? What about the exploitation of poor people for profit? I don’t see an email or dumb petition campain against ABS-CBN or GMA. Ever watch Bubble Gang? Imagine if that show was in the states and had all white actors.

GMA launches a blog network after the recent split with Inquirer.net. It must admit that the design doesn’t look that bad. They even posted photos. Check out the blogging babes and dreamy hunks.

I wonder if they will moderate their comments or trackbacks? I can see a dumb ABS-CBN vs GMA battle. This post will ping the following URL. Let’s see if it makes it….

If you thought Pinoy Idol and the other clones were annoying, get ready for………..


Old news but I just found out about it. While I will not complain about hot girls on the boob tube, it saddens me that there’s another imported TV franchise infesting Philippine airwaves. If we Pinoys are supposed to be “Galing”, why don’t we have more original Pinoy TV shows? I fully understand the economic factor of feeding the blind, deaf, and dumb masses but ALL these TV stations claim to be in “The service of the Filipino”. is it really a service to keep the 85% stupid?* Maybe we are not as “Galing” as we think?

The show is hosted by the Ruffa Gutierrez (MILF) and is pretty much the same as the American version where they get a bunch of ugly ducklings and turn them into models. I would rather see Tweetie Deleon host it. Oh well, I look forward to seeing clips on YouTube.

I don’t know why Filipinos both in and out of the country are CRAZY ABOUT WOWOWEE!!! What the hell is happening to the Filipinos???

I can understand the reason behind the show. It’s a show that gives poor people a chance to be rich and even have those 10 minutes of fame in front of the camera. What I don’t understand is WHY MAKE A FOOL OUT OF THE FILIPINOS AND MAKE THEM DANCE LIKE IDIOTS ON INTERNATIONAL TV???!!!

What on earth is so fun about a guy who acts like he loves the poor when he can’t even love his own wife and kid? And, my goodness, the two ANNOYING GIRLS/co-hosts who keep on shrieking every word they say when they already have a mic! Why are Filipinos taking this crap???!!!

AARRGGHHH!!!

I was eating lunch a while ago when our help, ate Glo, turned on the TV and watched that WRETCHED TV SHOW.

Boom tarat tarat… Boom tarat tarat… Taraaarat… Taraaarat… Boom! Boom! Boom!

And then I saw some matronas dancing (with great hatawness, I might add) the WRETCHED DANCE STEPS. And then a bunch of women came to Willie and kissed him on the cheek like he’s some sort of semi-god or something!

I instantly lost my appetite and went on to surf the net.

Then I went to YouTube and searched for “Boom Tarat Tarat”. I saw a video of two guys dancing the DANCE FROM HELL and it looked like they were having the time of their lives. And then I scrolled down to read the comments and this white boy said something like,

“DAYUM! YOU FILIPINOS ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!”

See? That’s what I’m talking about. Haaaayyy….

I dunno. I know I may sound mean and stuff, but I really don’t like WOWOWEE. It makes me want to blow myself up. It makes me sick! I just don’t get it why people love the show so much.
